How long must I wait before I can enroll my child?
The wait time for services varies throughout the year. It depends on the openings available and the need in the community as well as many other factors. If you have turned in an application with Early Development Services, it is a good idea to call once every 3 months to update your application.

What documentation do I need to bring with me to the enrollment meeting?

At initial enrollment meetings you must bring back all the forms given to you by the Enrollment Specialist. It is a good idea to have these forms completed before your appointment to save yourself time during the meeting. You will also need to bring your child’s most recent physical and records for up to date immunizations. For parents utilizing subsidized child care slots, you will also need to bring with you proof of address, proof of income, and the completed employment verification form.

What should I bring with me on my child’s first day of school?
For preschoolers and school aged children, you should bring one complete changes of clothing including socks and underpants. For infants and toddlers, we ask that you bring at least two complete changes of clothing, a box of wipes and at least 25 diapers if they are not yet potty learned. Some children have special blankets or soft toys that help provide them with comfort and these transitional items are welcomed as well. We do ask however, that all toys are left at home or in the car so as not to create any issues on the classroom with other children. Many of them have the same toys at home and may not yet understand that these toys do not belong to them.
